He advised and assisted the Afghanistan National Defence and Security Force in the conduct of Counter Improvised Threat capability management and development.Ĭliff is a retired Police Sergeant with 25 years front line operational and specialist service preceded by 9 years Military service with the British Army. Cliff served as a police officer and supervisor from 1990 and as a CT Police Search Advisor from 2012. In this role he has planned and led numerous protective searches for the British Royal family, other heads of state and significant sporting and public events. Cliff has also provided specialist search advice to high profile criminal and missing persons investigations throughout the UK. In 2013 Cliff was seconded to UK’s College of Policing (CoP), PNSC (Police National Search Centre) as a CT Search trainer.Ĭliff continues to provide associate and trainer services to the UK PNSC and CEPOL. Cliff works internationally supporting a number of Government and NGO projects, teaching CT and major crime search techniques as well as police skills and forensic management. He believes passionately in training to reflect operational realities, where every student leaves equipped to improve their own performance and to enhance their organization.ĭr. This role included IED/EOD training and instruction, Exploitation and Intelligence, Operations and Acquisition, and Technology procurement. He has worked predominantly in the FIVE EYES community to include his last position as Deputy Director Counter Improvised Threat Defeat Branch of Headquarters Resolute Support the Four-Star US led Afghanistan Headquarters in Kabul. Jason has extensive operational experience covering multiple deployments to Northern Ireland, Bosnia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Iraq and Afghanistan. He holds two Master degrees Advanced Information Systems and Computer Management Security. He specialised in the Technical Acquisition and Capability Management of Counter Improvised Explosive Device (CIED) and Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) equipment and Information Systems Security (Cyber).

Jason has served as a senior officer in both the British and Australian Army. Ian is a founding member of the Thin Blue Line International Association. Leading the team, Ian delivered complex foreign aid projects targeting the acquisition, trafficking and illicit use of CBRNE materials and conducted coordinated multi-national, cross-border counter smuggling operations, resulting in numerous arrests and seizures of illicit materials. Ian established the Chemical and Explosive Terrorism Unit at INTERPOL in France where he fostered a team working with law enforcement, government and military agencies throughout the world to identify best practice and deliver capacity building support to INTERPOL member countries. As an emergency commander, Ian helped resolve major incidents involving the threat of explosives and other hazardous materials and has investigated many forms of serious and organized criminal activity, at state, national and international levels.

A former Detective Chief Inspector, Ian commanded specialist CBRNE, bomb response, search and rescue and other units in Australia. Ian is a counter terrorism and major crime investigator with 31 years of service with international and national law enforcement agencies.
